What full face rejuvenation does
Dr Sultan maps the face first, then plans which areas need adding to and which need reducing.
Treating the face as one structure is what stops a result looking patched.
Is full face rejuvenation right for you?
This is a plan for the whole face rather than one treatment for one line. It suits people who feel they look tired rather than people who dislike a single feature.
It usually suits
- You cannot point to one thing, the whole face has changed
- Volume has gone from the cheeks and temples as well as lines appearing
- You want the balance restored rather than one area enlarged
- You are happy to be treated in more than one sitting
It is the wrong treatment if
- You want one specific line dealt with and nothing else
- Skin has lost most of its elasticity, where surgery gives the better result
- You are pregnant or breastfeeding
What to expect
- 01Before you arrive
- Stop acids, retinol, vitamin C and scrubs a week beforehand. If you take blood thinners, including aspirin or ibuprofen, ask your own doctor whether you can pause them.
- 02The consultation
- He goes through your medical history and what is bothering you, then photographs the area.
- 03The plan
- He maps the whole face and tells you the order he wants to treat it in. Not everything is done at once.
- 04Numbing
- Numbing cream goes on the areas being treated and is left for 30 to 45 minutes.
- 05The treatment
- Between 30 and 60 minutes in the chair, depending on how many areas are being done.
- 06Straight after
- Small red bumps sit at each injection point. They settle within a few hours and are gone by the next day.
- Do not touch or massage the treated area. Pressing on it can move the product.
- Keep the area clean and dry for 24 hours. Lukewarm water, air dry, no towel.
- No make-up over the injection points for 12 hours.
- No retinol, vitamin C or acids for 24 hours.
- No sauna, hot bath or jacuzzi for 24 hours.
- No exercise or anything that makes you sweat for 24 hours.
- Stay out of direct sun for 24 hours, then use a broad spectrum SPF 50 with 5 star UVA protection.

- Same day
- Small bumps at the injection points. Some swelling, which is the anaesthetic in the product as much as the treatment.
- 24 hours
- The bumps have gone. Most people go back to work the next morning.
- A few days
- Swelling settles and the shape you will keep starts to show.
- 10 to 12 days
- The full effect is visible.
- 12 to 14 days
- Follow-up video call. If something needs adjusting he says so.
- 9 to 12 months
- The effect wears off gradually. Book again before it has gone completely.
What full face rejuvenation is used for
- Facial hollowness
- Cheeks and temples that have flattened are a volume problem, not a skin problem. Tightening does nothing for it.
