Privacy Notice
What this website collects, why, and what you can ask for. Last updated 4 August 2026.
Who is responsible
Dr Sultan Hussein, practising at 8 Hollywood Road, Chelsea, London SW10 9HY, decides how information sent through this website is used. That makes him the data controller under UK data protection law.
To ask anything about this notice, or to make any of the requests below, email info@drsultan.co.uk.
What the website collects
Only what you type into the enquiry form: your name, your email address, your phone number if you give one, what your enquiry is about, and your message. Your IP address is recorded with the message, because a form with no record of where a submission came from cannot be defended against abuse.
Nothing else about you is collected. There is no analytics on this site, no advertising pixel, and no profiling. Browsing it leaves no record tied to you.
Please do not send clinical detail through the form
The enquiry form sends an ordinary email. Use it to say what you are interested in and to arrange a conversation. Do not use it to send medical history, photographs of a concern, or anything you would only tell a doctor. Bring that to your consultation, where it is recorded in your clinical notes and handled under the same duty of confidence as any other medical record.
Records made during your care are kept separately from this website and are governed by Dr Sultan's clinical record keeping, not by this notice.
Why it is allowed to be used
When you send an enquiry you are asking to be contacted, so replying to you is the reason the information is held. In data protection terms this is a legitimate interest: you asked a question and it would be no use to anyone if it went unanswered. Your details are not added to a mailing list and you will not be marketed to as a result of asking.
Who else sees it
Enquiries arrive in the clinic inbox and are read by Dr Sultan and whoever is handling appointments. They are not sold, shared or passed to anyone else.
Two other services are involved in the running of the website itself, and neither receives your enquiry:
- The web host, which stores the website and its email.
- Bunny Fonts, which serves the typefaces. It is used in place of Google Fonts because it does not log IP addresses or set cookies.
The maps on the area pages are drawn with OpenStreetMap. Loading a map means your browser requests map tiles from openstreetmap.org, so that request carries your IP address the way any web request does. Map tiles are only requested if you scroll a map into view, and no cookie is set by it. The Get directions buttons are ordinary links: nothing loads from Google unless you click one.
Cookies
This site uses two cookies and both are needed for it to work at all. There is no cookie banner because there is nothing here to consent to: no tracking, no advertising, no measurement.
- orion-session
- Keeps your visit connected across pages so a form submission is not mistaken for a stranger's. Expires when you close your browser.
- XSRF-TOKEN
- Proves a form was submitted from this site and not from somewhere else pretending to be it. This is a security measure.
The web host also sets a cookie of its own to tell people apart from automated traffic. That is part of the hosting, not something this site chooses.
How long it is kept
Enquiries are kept for as long as they are useful and then deleted. Dr Sultan sets that period; ask him if you want to know exactly how long yours will be held. Clinical records are kept for the period required of a doctor, which is longer and is set by professional guidance rather than by the clinic.
What you can ask for
UK data protection law gives you the right to ask what is held about you, to have it corrected, to have it deleted, to restrict what is done with it, to receive a copy, and to object to it being used. Email info@drsultan.co.uk and you will get an answer within one month.
If you are not happy with the response, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
Changes to this notice
If what the website does with information changes, this page changes with it and the date at the top is updated.
