What arm contouring does
A traditional arm lift leaves a scar running down the inside of the arm. This does not.
Is arm contouring right for you?
Loose skin on the upper arm is what this treats. It is not a weight loss treatment and it will not build muscle.
It usually suits

What to expect
- 01Before you arrive
- Medication is given beforehand to keep you comfortable through the procedure.
- 02The consultation
- He goes through your history, marks the arms and photographs them.
- 03Numbing
- Local anaesthetic. You stay awake. No general anaesthetic, no hospital stay.
- 04The procedure
- A fine cannula passes under the skin. Radiofrequency heats the tissue beneath while he monitors the temperature throughout.
- 05Fat, where it helps
- Liposuction can be combined with it where removing liquefied fat improves the shape.
- 06Going home
- Same day, in a compression garment.
- Wear the compression garment as directed. It is not optional.
- No exercise or anything that makes you sweat for three days.
- No sauna, hot bath or jacuzzi for three days.
- Keep the area clean and dry for the first 24 hours.
- Take paracetamol for discomfort. Not ibuprofen, and not other anti-inflammatories.
- Stay out of direct sun for 24 hours, then use SPF.

- Exercise and heat can restart.

- Most swelling and bruising has gone.
